A limited number of educators with COVID-19 comorbidities have continued teaching remotely full-time, to students who are also at home. Superintendent Runcie has broken his promise to keep these teachers healthy and safe, by forcing them to return to school -- even though classrooms are more than half empty, and the pandemic is still raging.

This is no way to treat our most medically fragile educators who have dedicated years of service to our children, and to our community.

Should teachers like Michael Porter become a statistic when there is still a great need for remote teachers?
